NJ Teacher's Unions guarantee they'll support child-molesting teachers. Yay.

These New Jersey teachers aren't used to someone questioning their power over the state's budget.  Here, we learn how far they'd go to protect a teacher-abused student.  Guess what?  Not far.  Bottom line - yes, they will go to great lengths to defend child-molesting teachers.  How do we know?  They said so, repeatedly.

As goes Central Falls, RI, so goes Your Town, USA

Can a town be managed so incompetently it goes belly-up?  Oh, yeah.  Let's visit Central Falls, RI - "The City with a Bright Future", as the front page on their website suggests.  Yes, they have a future.  Massive bailouts from the state or complete dissolution. 

Lemonade stands have been managed better than this city.  There are the standard culprits - poor fiscal forecasting, collective bargaining by city's union trolls, and huge under-funded pensions.  In fact, if every dime of the city's budget for the next five years ($24 mil) was deposited in the pension plan, it would still be under water.  It's nasty.  The pension plan will cease to be able to pay pensions by 2013. 

Read the Receiver's Report for the nuts and bolts of how a city fails. Before you say, "well, it's a little place with amateurs running things" - take a look at San Diego's future financial demise.  As usual, it their municipal hell comes down to promising everything to public worker's unions.  Is your "little slice of heaven" next?

Why the lack of recent posts?

You, like many thousands of others, have no doubt been curious, perhaps alarmed even, at the lack of recent posts.  While I can sympathize with you, I cannot empathize, as I hang on nobody's words as much as you do mine.  The reasons for the absence are varied, but mostly classified.  I will divulge the reason only when leaked by Wikileaks.  At that point, I'll only have to clarify any of their mistakes.  Thanks for your understanding and impression that I care.
